Oba Michael Odunayo Ajayi declare free education in Erinmo-Ijesa

HRM OBA (DR) MICHAEL ODUNAYO AJAYI AROWOTAWAYA II THE ELERINMO OF ERINMO-IJESA KINGDOM, set another big record as he is ready to give a  full term scholarship
to 10 indigent pupils of St Peter's Primary school  Erinmo as part of activities marking his 5th Coronation anniversary. This will cover all fees to be paid in school, 2 sets of new uniform , books, school sandals, socks, high quality school bags, lunch pack and feeding allowance.

In this interview, Oba Michael Odunayo Ajayi discussed the importance of education and why he decided  to award free education to the people of the school in particular.

According to him; his late father Asiwaju Dr Joseph Olubowale Ajayi was a pupil and later a teacher of ST Peter's Primary School  before leaving to attend the University of Lagos where his classmates nicknamed him "Dean". In fact, he was the first University Graduate from Erinmo town.

Also, Kabiyesi Elerinmo sunk a borehole in the name of his father and a mini library of books last year.

All these are done under the auspices of his newly registered NGO "Oba Arowotawaya Foundation" which will be formally unveiled at the Grand Reception for his 5th Coronation Anniversary slated for 10th August at which their Imperial majesties The Ooni of Ife and The Alaafin of Oyo are expected to grace the occassion as Grand Royal Fathers of the day.

 Oba Arowotawaya therefore enjoined everyone to embrace the act of goodwill at all times. He posited that giving back to society should be our top priority in order to bridge the gap between the poor and the rich.
