PROFILE OF YINKA OLATUNBOSUN
Yinka Olatunbosun is a chartered Banker,
a chartered Administrator, an educationists, a financial & management expert, Media/PR consultant and a writer.
He was born on the 28th of May, 1974 to the family of Chief Abioye Olatunbosun (Wakesan of Ife) and Late Mrs. Anike Olatunbosun (Nee Awofisayo)
in Ile-Ife, Osun State, Nigeria among a family of six children.
He attended the following institutions for his primary, secondary and
tertiary education:
- Sijuwade Nursery and Primary School, Ile-Ife
- Moremi High School, O.A.U., Ile-Ife
- Osun State Polytechnic, Iree
- University of Abuja
- University of Maiduguri
- National Open University of Nigeria
- Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria
- International Institute of Journalism, Abuja.
Yinka Olatunbosun possesses several higher degrees some of which are Masters in Business Administration (MBA), Masters in Educational Administration and Planning (M.Ed), Masters in Banking & Finance (MBF) and Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) in Journalism.
He has many professional qualifications which are as follows:

He is certified as a teacher by the
Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria and he is a member of the Abuja writers' Forum.
He is also an Alumnus of the Redeemed Christian Bible College, � Lagos where he bagged a Masters of Arts in Theology.
He is a Church leader as well as a responsible family man who is happily �with children.
He has travelled widely and has attended several courses and seminars one of which is the Advanced �leadership training programme at the Haggai Institute Singapore in 2007
Yinka worked for over 15 years in the Banking industry where he rose to the position of Branch Manager.
He is the founder of Yinka Olatunbosun Foundation, an NGO which has contributed a lot to the educational and economic development of his community. As part of his community activities, his Foundation participated in the following
programmes:
- Sole-sponsor of NIDSA 2016 annual quiz and debate competition for Secondary Schools in Ife Land
- Sole-sponsor of 2017 quiz and debate competition for Federated Union of Modakeke Students (FUMS)
- Donation of exercise books and other materials to NIDSA for 2017 Annual Free Summer School.
- Co-sponsor, First Edition of Ife
Youth Economic Summit (IYES)
in 2016.
- Distribution of free exercise books to Secondary School students
in Ife in 2016.
In recognition of his positive contributions, he was given an award of excellence in humanitarian Service by Ife Ooye Leo Club in October 2017. He was also installation as the Alatunse of Fajuyi community Ile-Ife on 23rd December, 2017.
As an entrepreneur, he has interest in the following companies:

During his school days, he was a student activist and an active member of National Ife Descendant Students' Association (NIDSA) where he served in the following capacities:�
- President, NIDSA, Osun State Polytechnic, Iree Chapter

He was also the founding Editor of The Parrot Magazine, a frontline campus magazine based at the Osun State Polytechnic, Iree.
Yinka started his political career in 1992 as a member of the defunct
Social Democratic Party (SDP) and later joined the National Conscience Party (NCP) as a founding member.
In 2014, he was an Aspirant for the Osun State House of Assembly on the Platform of the All Progressive Congress (APC).

HIS PROGRAMMES/AGENDA includes:
1. To embark on financial and job empowerment programmes for
the youths and scheme to support the less privileged in of constituency.
2.To make sure that government is brought closer to the people by attracting meaningful projects to the constituency and seeing to it that these projects are also executed.
3.To offer quality, efficient and dynamic representation to the people by becoming a voice for them in the house
4.To give bursary awards to indigent students.....and many more..
