Yinka Olatunbosun is a Nigerian chartered Banker
and Administrator, Financial & Management expert, Educationist, Media/PR consultant, Writer and Philanthropist per excellence.
He was born on the 28th of May, 1974 to the family of Chief Abioye Olatunbosun (Wakesan of Ife) and Late Mrs. Anike Olatunbosun (Nee Awofisayo) in Ile-Ife, Osun State, Nigeria among a family of six children.
He attended the following institutions for his primary, secondary and

He is a member of the Abuja writers' Forum.
He is a Church leader as well as a responsible family man who is happily married with children. He is a registered and active member of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) and by extension a member of Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN). He is also a member of an International Political Awareness NGO known as Advocates for Right Leadership Association (aka Believers In Politics).
He has travelled widely and has attended several courses and seminars one of which is the Advanced leadership training programme at the Haggai Institute Singapore in 2007
Yinka worked efficiently for over 15 years in the Banking industry where he rose to the position of Branch Manager in one of the leading banking institutions, a position he productively held for 8 years before he established Hyzik Consulting Limited, a Financial and Management Consulting firm.
He is the founder of Yinka Olatunbosun Foundation, an NGO which has contributed a lot to the educational and economic development of his community. As part of his community activities, his Foundation participated in the following
programmes:
- Sole-sponsor of NIDSA 2016 annual quiz and debate competition for Secondary Schools in Ife Land
- Sole-sponsor of 2017 quiz and debate competition for Federated Union of Modakeke Students (FUMS)
- Donation of exercise books and other materials to NIDSA for 2017 Annual Free Summer School.
- Co-sponsor, First Edition of Ife
Youth Economic Summit (IYES)
in 2016.
- Distribution of free exercise books to Secondary School students
in Ife in 2016.
- Sponsored 100 Ife and Modakeke women to participate in the 2018 Ooni Annual women empowerment programme.
- Sponsored 2,000 Youths for 3months Free ICT training (on-going).
- Organized a Football Competition for all registered clubs in Ife and Modakeke in April/May 2018 known as Yinka Olatunbosun Youth Peace Football Competition which will be an annual event.
In recognition of his positive contributions, he was given the following awards/title:
- Award of Excellence in humanitarian Service by Ife Ooye Leo Club
- Award of Excellence in Humanitarian Service by Rotaract Club of Modakeke.
- 2018 Youth Role Model Award by The Unscripted.
- The Alatunse of Fajuyi community, Ile-Ife.
During his school days, he was a student activist and an active member of National Ife Descendant Students' Association (NIDSA) where he served in the following capacities:
- President, NIDSA, Osun State Polytechnic, Iree Chapter
- Editor-in-chief, Starclass Magazine, Ile-Ife.
He was also the founding Editor of The Parrot Magazine, a frontline campus magazine based at the Osun State Polytechnic, Iree.
Yinka started his political career in 1992 as a member of the defunct
Social Democratic Party (SDP) and later joined the National Conscience Party (NCP) as a founding member.
In 2014, he was an Aspirant for the Osun State House of Assembly on the Platform of the All Progressive Congress (APC).
He is a member of the following associations: - - Ife Recreation Club
- Ife Clarion call Initiative
- Progressive Gents' Movement, Ile-Ife.
He is the founder of Bosun Forum which is a proactive socio- political movement with membership strength of over 1,000 people spread across Ife East State Constituency.
Yeah, I begin to wonder if Yinka Olatunbosun coulď do all these from his own personal pocket, what would he do when he represent the people of Ife East State Constituency in Osun State House of Assembly? Yinka Olatunbosun indeed a man to watch out for!
